What the Surgeon Said
Stephanie underwent full abdominoplasty to remove excess skin and soft tissue situated mainly in the lower portion of the tummy. The horizontal excess of skin and subcutaneous tissue in the lower part of the tummy is typical for post-pregnancy changes. Stephanie wanted to restore the shape of the tummy and remove excess tissue not going away with physical exercise. The surgery was uneventful and Stephanie has made an excellent recovery.
