Ken Stewart recently attended a plastic surgery symposium in Basel held jointly by the University of Basel and the University of Manchester. Ken was invited to speak on the topic of ear reconstruction in which he is a leading expert. The conference was held over a few days and was attended by clinicians and medical scientists from the world over with the united aim to foster clinical scientific collaborations within the field. The event was hosted by Dr Daniel Kalbermatten, a Head Investigator at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in Basel and Professor Ralf Paus who is a Professor in cutaneous medicine in Manchester.
Ken enjoyed the opportunity to share his work and meet such talented scientists. He even went swimming in the Rhine!
