I am so glad that I had my ears corrected. It was a bit funny having the surgery under local anaesthetic hearing noises. But it didn’t hurt after the injections. I am very pleased with the outcome.
What the Surgeon said
Surgery was very satisfactory with symmetrical ears in a stable position. We generally prefer to suture or stitching method of prominent ear correction. Our outcome date from Sick Kids has shown this to have the best outcomes with the fewest risks of complications. Each part of the ear can be individually overcorrected and adjusted.
