Cameron Raine has been included in an Edinburgh Breast Unit team that will be travelling to China next year to set up a reconstructive breast surgery service in a province outside of Beijing. In collaboration with Sanming Medical School, the trip will be part of a learning exchange with a group of Chinese surgeons and an opportunity to share expertise and for the visiting team to learn the techniques used in Edinburgh. SMU has always been active in promoting international communication and cooperation. Cameron is looking forward to the chance to see how the surgeons are getting on and to witness first-hand the benefits of the exchange. We wish him the best of luck!
